Team-building trip
We've visited recently one of Romania's most popular touristic attractions, the Salt Mine from Turda, which is very close to our city, Cluj-Napoca. This trip gave us an opportunity not only to admire the beauties of nature but also to have fun and to learn together, like a real team :)

Project objectives
Objectives:
-developing key competence of students and teachers (mother tongue, foreign languages, digital competence, social and civic competence, initiative taking/leadership and entrepreneurship, cultural/environmental awareness and expression);
-increasing acceptance of others and reducing racism and xenophobia, by increasing students' knowledge about other cultures and languages in the EU, cultural diversity and equality
-reducing early school leaving among socially disadvantaged students, by teaching them the basic life-skills, and involving them in activities in which they feel valued and accepted
-increasing motivation of students for learning, by using modern methods of teaching, practical and creative ways integrated in the curriculum (learning for living)
-making students aware of the rights and duties, as members of the EU and encouraging them towards active citizenship, by favoring practices of cooperation through working together, comparing, exchanging and reflecting
-developing students' IT skills, making modern technology an active part of our lessons and students work
-raising our students self-confidence, by making them active members of the project
-involving students in problem solving actions, such as: pollution, climate changes, unemployment, children's rights, school failure, and making them find and implement their own solutions
-encouraging our students and colleagues for learning foreign languages, necessary for their professional development and finding a good job on the work field,giving them the chance to travel
-developing students' artistic and creative skills by making them create their own educational sketches, an anthem, a video for it to promote their ideas
-increasing the European dimension of each institution and promoting the European values by concrete actions and real contact

ESRA volunteers congratulated by the Mayor of Cluj
ESRA volunteers were awarded a special prize in a competition to keep Cluj green and clean. The Mayor of Cluj congratulated them for the Euro-Garden and the other eco-activities.

Info-meeting in City hall
In Solna there will be a meeting in November, in the City hall to inform about our project. Politicians, civil servants, school administrators and other interested are invited.
