OUR FAVOURITE FLOWERS

NUESTRAS FLORES FAVORITAS / OUR FAVOURITE FLOWERS

CLAVEL /  CARNATION / DIANTHUS CARYOPHYLLUS

Red carnation  is the Spanish national flower. Wild carnation can flower in spring and summer, but you can grow it almost all the year in good conditions. You must water it regularly but not too much. Carnations really love sunlight!!!

HORTENSIA /  / HYDRANGEA

Hydrangeas can flower since the beginning of spring until the end of autumn. Its flowers can be white, pink or blue. They need lots of water, so the soil must be always wet but not too much.

Why don't you walk with us?

The nature and the enviroment is very important for all the people, animals and plants. Unfortunately the nature and the enviroment is getting worse because of the irresponsible behaviours of the people.

We should plant new trees and flowers in order to make our enviroment and nature better and greener. First we should do this and be the leader. We are also responsible from our enviroment we live. And thanks to us this enviroment is green or not. If each individual does his/her duties for the nature and enviroment, the world becomes a beter place to live. But there are little people in the world who does this. So we should raise people awareness and conscious about the nature. How can we do this? For example, we can create botanical gardens in our school and we can give students nature love and conscious  by giving information. If this coscious can be given efficiently, that person will always be sensitive about enviroment in the future and go on raising other people awareness about nature.

In order to be a model for raising this awareness we have attended this Comenius School Partnership. Our aim is to raise nature and enviroment awareness of people and students by the help of this Project with our partners from  Romania, Spain and Sweden. Euro-garden is a good way to achieve this aim. Among this aim we made new friends from Romania, Spain and Sweden and learn about their culture, language,climate,plants,flowers,etc..

Finally, we achieved to take a step for this and why don’t you walk with us?

"EURO GARDEN" by İzzet Mert

Let's think a garden at the school. It is full of colourful and beautiful flowers such as roses,tulips,daisies,...etc. The smell and appearanceof the flowers will make the school more alive.
In this garden, the seeds will come from different European countries. Therefore, the name of the garden will be "Euro Garden" and the gardeners will be the students especially the students who don't come to school regulary. The students will plant the seeds and water, care them and observe their growing. So, the students will take an active role in gardening. When the flowers begin to blassom, they will see that they can achieve everything if they try. They will learn to take responsibility and come to school for an aim. Also, they will have fun while they re caring the flowers,
"Euro Garden" will give a chance to students to learn more about different countries, their climate, flora, types of plants,culture,..etc. They will have wider knowledge about different countries.

Spring is around the corner :)

EURO GARDEN

Have you ever seen a magical realm full of flowers? A clear place, which delights you every time you step into it! Theoretically, this land doesn’t exist, but somewhere, far away, in Cluj, at Emil Isac School, this land rises. It's so beautiful! Fairies, queens, princess dance happily in the garden, when children come to school. And, every time of the year, there wakes up an ambitious flower with a grin from ear to ear, whispering: ‘I love you’! But I wonder, what is the fruit of this land….Where does it come from?

Once upon a time, far away, a partnership appeared magically. It had so many children! From Sweden, Turkey, Spain and Romania were some of them. They were pretty far from each other, but they always understood each other well and they always shared knowledge, culture and many more. When they met, here at ‘Emil Isac’ School, they signed a ‘pact’ to create this magic land.

Their desire was to grow thousands of flowers in this realm: pansies, roses, tulips, trees, and even snowdrops. I wonder… what has happened with their desire… It has come true! It's such a magical realm, that when you pass by it, you stop and wait a few minutes to wonder and admire it. All children, every month, exchange seeds of flowers from all over Europe!

I know you're wondering why this land is so beautiful. It's nice in the first place thanks to its flowers, which are beautiful! Then, it is charmed because of the tree fairies singing in the magic garden. Green grass, benches, laughing voices of children, playing among the leaves…. What do you say? Do we have reason to take pride in this garden? I’m telling you, it's gorgeous!

If you ever have the opportunity to reach this far away land of Cluj, you will have the opportunity to see one of the 7 wonders of the world. I am sure that the children of the ESRA partnership will meet someday and the second pact will take place!
