Hall of fame...

Hello, everyone! First of all, we'd like to thank our Swedish friends for the great song which they proposed to us in the ESRA-week : Hall Of Fame-The Script feat. Will.i.am. We love it, so, we decided to make projects about it and here are pictures of some of them. It sends us a "wake up call" to be more ambitions, to trust ourselves more.We need to ACT, and also DON'T WAIT FOR LUCK.! One strong message from it is that one day you will ask yourself how it would have all been like if you had done that small or that big thing.'Cause you'll never know, if you never even try... If we try,we can be anything we want to be, just try and trust yourself! And fight to be the best! All the lyrics are like guidings to our life. One day, we can all  be in a hall of fame :-) So,Turkish and Spanish children, tell us a song !!! Can't wait to see what you like. We miss you all! Spring is around the corner :)

EURO GARDEN

Have you ever seen a magical realm full of flowers? A clear place, which delights you every time you step into it! Theoretically, this land doesn’t exist, but somewhere, far away, in Cluj, at Emil Isac School, this land rises. It's so beautiful! Fairies, queens, princess dance happily in the garden, when children come to school. And, every time of the year, there wakes up an ambitious flower with a grin from ear to ear, whispering: ‘I love you’! But I wonder, what is the fruit of this land….Where does it come from?

Once upon a time, far away, a partnership appeared magically. It had so many children! From Sweden, Turkey, Spain and Romania were some of them. They were pretty far from each other, but they always understood each other well and they always shared knowledge, culture and many more. When they met, here at ‘Emil Isac’ School, they signed a ‘pact’ to create this magic land.

Their desire was to grow thousands of flowers in this realm: pansies, roses, tulips, trees, and even snowdrops. I wonder… what has happened with their desire… It has come true! It's such a magical realm, that when you pass by it, you stop and wait a few minutes to wonder and admire it. All children, every month, exchange seeds of flowers from all over Europe!

I know you're wondering why this land is so beautiful. It's nice in the first place thanks to its flowers, which are beautiful! Then, it is charmed because of the tree fairies singing in the magic garden. Green grass, benches, laughing voices of children, playing among the leaves…. What do you say? Do we have reason to take pride in this garden? I’m telling you, it's gorgeous!

If you ever have the opportunity to reach this far away land of Cluj, you will have the opportunity to see one of the 7 wonders of the world. I am sure that the children of the ESRA partnership will meet someday and the second pact will take place!

... from our project diary

“….we realized that we all have something in common: we all love ENGLISHJ. ..This project is fantastic. I like it because I can learn more about the countries and the schools and also because I feel more motivated to learn English. And it is a special way to learn it. It’s like this project has awakened our appetite for English.”  Ema
“….It is a unique occasion to speak English, to make new friends and to learn about their traditions and a bit about every country and their culture. We are some very lucky kids to have the occasion to do this. Thank you teachers and the rest of people involved to make all this happen.” Adriana
“…I will never forget the week when our guests came to our school. It was very beautiful and interesting. I like them because they are polite and patient.” Lidia
“Aww…That’s too bad! Those wonderful moments are over. I really miss them, and when I say them I mean some extraordinary people. …When I opened the door of the staff room I felt really embarrassed but I saw only nice people, the Swedish with their blond hair and blue eyes, the Spanish with their beautiful skin and the Turkish with the popular curly hair…” Andra
